Located in the charming village of Mase in the Val d'Hérens, our mayen Le Tsalet welcomes you for an unforgettable stay combining nature, tradition and tranquillity. Le Tsalet is our first renovation of a group of mayens in the village of Mase.
Perched at an altitude of 1,350 metres, Mase is a true Alpine gem, renowned for its unique architectural heritage. The village is home to a host of traditional mayens – sun-browned wooden chalets that bear witness to an unspoilt mountain lifestyle.
Le Tsalet, recently renovated in keeping with the original materials, offers all the modern comforts while retaining the soul and authenticity of Valais buildings. Whether you're here for a rejuvenating weekend or a longer stay, you'll find peace, beauty and a connection with nature.
Treat yourself to a timeless break in an unspoilt Alpine setting, in tune with nature and Valais customs. The mayen Le Tsalet is ideal for 2 people, and can also accommodate 2 children up to the age of 12 in the mezzanine.

The two-storey mayen Le Tsalet combines alpine charm with modern comforts, providing a total of 27 square metres of intelligently laid-out living space. The main entrance is on the upper floor, where a welcoming living room opens onto a lounge, dining room and open-plan kitchen.
Each floor has its own terrace, and the top floor also has a balcony, ideal for enjoying the view and the fresh air.
For your convenience, the mayen is equipped with high-speed WiFi.
2 / Upper level
The fully-equipped Bulthaup kitchen features a double induction hob, oven and fridge-freezer. The Franke worktop, in Diamond finish, and matching sink add a touch of elegance and robustness. A Nespresso machine is also available for enjoying a coffee at any time of day. The Zug brand appliances underline the care taken with the furnishings.
A Rika pellet stove provides gentle, constant heat, creating a cosy atmosphere all year round.
3 / Lower level
The lower level houses the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a Jensen box spring king-size bed, providing optimum comfort for peaceful nights.The stylish bathroom includes a walk-in shower, washbasin, WC and Zehnder towel warmer. Gessi taps add an extra touch of elegance. A Miele washing machine with drying function is also available.

Le Val d’Hérens, encore sauvage et peu touché par le tourisme de masse, est un paradis pour les amoureux d’activités en plein air. L’été, les sentiers de randonnée et de VTT vous emmènent à travers forêts, alpages et panoramas grandioses sur les sommets enneigés. L’hiver, les domaines skiables familiaux, les pistes de ski de fond, et les itinéraires de raquettes promettent des journées riches en découvertes.
La région est également un haut lieu de l’éco-tourisme, avec une forte sensibilité à la préservation de l’environnement et aux traditions locales.
